HMM to Increase South American Market Capability

Hyundai Merchant Marine(HMM) will entry into the South American market through a slot charter on a North America-South America service, as well as other services linked with SA.

From Dec. 1, HMM will charter 135 teu weekly from K Line on the SAMCO service, which is operated jointly with Yang Ming and Hanjin Shipping.

The port rotation is New York, Norfolk, Savannah, Rio Grande, Itajai, Santos, New York.

HMM is also seeking participation in Asia-SA and North Europe-SA trade lanes.
