Hanjin opens Singapore - Bangladesh feeder service

Hanjin Shipping launched an exclusive feeder service connecting Singapore and Bangladesh to strengthen Southwestern Asian routes. This new service is the second Southwestern Asian service following a feeder service between Singapore and Thailand.

The new feeder service, called CSS, operates every other four days with 5 vessels in partnership with the local 'Sea Consortium' The first service started at Singapore Port on April 14. The calling route is Singapore - Malaysia - Port Kelang - Bangladesh - Chittagong - Singapore.

One insider from HMM said, "We started the new private feeder service to strengthen our service network in the region and plan to launch other private feeder services in Southwestern Asia."
