[ C.C Volume on Korea/Russia trade recorded steep growth ]

Container trade volume between Korea and Russia has increased by 40.36
percent.
According to the statistics from Korea Maritime and Port Administratio
n, container cargo volume on the Korea - Russia trade totalled to 15,9
60 TEUs for a steep 40.36 percent rise from the 11,371 TEUs in the end
of the first half of this year.
Out of these figures, container export volume recorded 9,806 TEUs, up
46.45 percent as compared to the ssame period of last year whereas i
mport volume reached 6,151 TEUs.
Hanso Shipping Co., and Far East Shipping Co., has shipped out 1,567 T
EUs and 960 TEUs respectively during the end of the first half of this
year.
