Hanjin celebrates 28th anniversary

Hanjin Shipping held a 28th anniversary and various charity events starting with a blood donation event.

The company held a donating blood event with all company members attending, including president Park Jeong Won, on April 25. The event, under the catch phrase, "Your 10 minutes give smiles to a life for 10 years", was attended by about 300 members from Seoul head office, branch offices and the Pusan office. Blood donated will be used to help children with heart disease.

Meanwhile, Hanjin Shipping has opened various memorial events for its founding called, "Love for Neighborhood, Sea and Hanjin", from April 25 to May 13. Other activities include a community service event, a field tour with the handicapped and a cinema service for welfare facilities.

The company is creating excitement through many events including an ocean picture exhibition, a greeting campaign, a "Day of the Home" and a company banquet under the heading 'Love for Sea and Hanjin'.

President Park Jeong Won said, "I expect that these events will expand and last, creating a culture of sharing at the company."
