3rd anniversary for PanStar Ferry route between Pusan and Osaka
PanStar Ferry celebrated its 3rd year of calling on April 23 for the Panstar Dream vessel operating between Pusan and Osaka.
PanStar Ferry celebrated its 3rd anniversary for the route with 350 people attending including minister Oh Geo Don from MOMAF, administrator Lee In Soo from Pusan Regional Maritime & Fisheries Office, president Chu Jun Seok from BPA, as well as other officials and people in the industry.
President Kim Hyun Geom said in an address, "We operated 915 services through 3 weekly round trips since its opening, finding the best way to quick and safely service Korea and Japan," and, "We grew quickly, launching a Pusan Port weekly cruise service."
Minister Oh Geo Don said, "I celebrate that the PanStar Dream ship creates new tourism since its first calling, and that Pusan Port has a weekly cruise service, successful from December last year," and added, "The government will support marine cruise services in various ways."
Meanwhile, Captain Lee Hyung Sik was awarded a prize for no accidents and no service suspensions during those first 3 years.
