Bryan Gaze to leave Bilbroughs

Bryan Gaze is to leave A Bilbrough & Co, managers of the London P&I Cl
ub, on August 20, 2000. Mr Gaze joined Bilbroughs in 1972, was appoint
ed a director in 1976, and Financial Director in 1979, since when he h
as also served as the Club’s chief financial officer.
It is likely, however, that Mr Gaze will play a continuing role in inv
estment strategy. A Further announcement in this regard is expected in
due course.
John M Lyras, Chairman of the London Club, paid tribute to the “consi
derable success and distinction” with which Mr Gaze had played “a ma
jor role in the Club’s financial, investment and reinsurance affairs
for over twenty years.”
Mr Gaze will be leaving Bilbroughs on August 20 this year, but will be
available as a consultant for the remainder of the next policy year u
p to February 20, 2001. He will be succeeded by his present assistant,
Tom Saul, who has been with Bilbroughs for four years and is an assoc
iate director of the company.
