Hanjin Shipping upgrades Far East U.S. East Coast service
Hanjin Shipping announced that it is upgrading one of its Transpacific trades effective end of April.
AWE-5 (All Waters East Coast-5) service, which covers the Far East and the U.S. East Coast, is currently operated by Hanjin Shipping and Yang Ming Line with nine 4,250-4,300 TEU class ships.
From the end of April, COSCON will be joining as a new partner and the vessels will be replaced with nine of 5,500 TEU class of which three are deployed by Hanjin Shipping.

▲ Vessels deployed: 9 x 5,500 TEU (Hanjin Shipping x 3, Yang Ming x 3, COSCON x 3)
▲ Commencement date: April 24th, 2011 (ETD Kaohsiung)
