Wan Hai, COSCON, Hanjin and PIL to Co-operate in Transpacific Service
Wan Hai Lines, COSCON Container Lines Co., Ltd., Hanjin Shipping and Pacific International Lines recently announcd that they cooperated in the Transpacific trade effective from early of April.
The New Joint service cooperation, CLX (Central China-Long Beach Express) service, consists of 5 x 3,600- 3,850 TEU vessels, two of which provided by COSCON and one by each of the three other partners. The CLX is expected to connect Fuzhou, Ningbo, Shanghai (Waigaoqiao) and Yokohama to Long Beach. The 3,850 TEU WAN HAI 505 inaugurated the service from Fuzhou on 4th April.
Together with this new joint service, WHL, Hanjin and PIL will enter into a cross-charter arrangement with COSCON on SEA service, hence providing customers with more comprehensive service coverage.
