Improved North Europe - West Africa Service
ZIM recently announced an improved North Europe - West Africa service. A spokesperson for the company said,“In continuous efforts to improve our services to our customers, we are glad to inform that ZIM’s North Europe - West Africa Service (NAF) will now offer an improved weekly service from main ports in North Europe and West Africa.”
ZIM is to offer a weekly joint service with Hapag-Lloyd and Mitsui O.S.K Lines (MOL), providing a much improved transit time.
The new service will be launched on April 5th, with the following ports of call : Antwerp - Hamburg - Thamesport - Antwerp - Dakar - Tin Can Island - Tema - Abidjan - Amsterdam - Antwerp.
The Amsterdam call will be seasonal aimed at serving the cocoa trade from West Africa. The Abidjan call will resume once European sanctions are lifted.
