BDP International expands presence in Argentina

BDP International (BDP), a US-based global logistics and transportation management company, expanded its transportation arm in Argentina with its acquisition of Seabreeze Argentina, SA.

The addition of Seabreeze enables BDP to bring greater transportation service expertise to our customers doing business in Argentina, both to support their international air and ocean requirements and build upon our value proposition for trade in the global marketplace, said H. Timothy Bolte, BDP vice president, Pan Americas.

We are pleased to bring Argentina into our expanding Latin America operations, which now include offices in Brazil, Chile and Mexico, supplemented by our global network partnerships in other regions, Bolte continued.

In April of this year, BDP also established a business unit in Buenos Aires, BDP International SRL, for the purpose of providing customized logistics services for the country? petrochemical sector.

Ron Young, BDP vice president of Latin America, added, ?e initiated that investment earlier this year to better serve our global chemical customers by providing enhanced service coverage in Argentina and linking more complex supply chain requirements with their international customer base.
