Foreign seamen join Busan Tour
The 15 foreign seamen who joined the "Busan Tour" courtesy of Busan Port Authority (BPA) on November 2 were fascinated with the scenic beauty of Busan, uttering “Busan is Wonderful, thanks BPA”.
Using the time between their entry and departure, they took a tour to Beomeosa, a Buddhist temple in Busan and Nurimaru APEC House. On the way to the temple, they took pictures of Kwangan Bridge, fascinated with the large scale of the bridge. In the temple, they uttered “wonderful” fascinated with the reddish color of leaves and the calm beauty of the temple. They watched monks praying with curiosity and some of them mimicked their prayers.
After finishing their tour of the temple after about an hour, they visited Nurimaru where the 2005 APEC Summit was held. They were busy taking pictures against the backdrop of their own country’s president placed at the entrance of the summit conference hall.
Being sorry about the lack of time, they took the bus back to their ship. Though the tour took just 3 hours and 30 minutes, the tour was a kind of Oasis for those who had long been exhausted with the life at sea.
One of crew, who took part in the tour, said that he was very pleased with the tour, expressing his hope to revisit Busan with his family later.
This Busan Tour Program was the third one to date.
