Port of Long Beach holds thank-you reception in Seoul
The Port of Long Beach(POLB) held a port promotion event for shipping companies and related people in Asia.
POLB visited on June 4 to open a reception themed as ?hanks for your contribution to the Port of Long Beach?at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Seoul.
The reception was held to strengthen relationships with port customers like domestic and foreign corporate carriers and officials from ports in Korea.
Reception attendees included Bob Foster, City of Long Beach Mayor, and 8 other officials including Mike Walter, the Commission Assistant Secretary from POLB, and S.H. Hong from Korea, a representative from POLB.
Also, in attendance were 50 related people including Lee In Soo, Deputy Minister of the Shipping & Logistics Bureau of MOMAF (Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Fisheries), and HMM president Roh Jeong Ik at the invitation of POLB.
Korea is the 7th largest trade nation at the Port of Long Beach.
