Sony awards HMM 'Best Shipping Company'
Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) announced on June 26 that it was awarded ?he Best Shipping Company?by Sony for the third consecutive year.
Sony has selected the best shipping company of the year by inspecting service competitiveness, scale of vessels, corporate relations and other factors. With this, HMM has been recognized as the best among 20 international shipping companies by Sony.
HMM transported 20,000 TEU of container cargoes for Sony last year. They expect that to record 35 million dollars in sales this year by transporting 30,000 TEU, increasing 50% as compared with last year.
One insider from HMM said, ?e were selected as ?he Best Shipping Company?because we are reliable and offer high-quality service for our customers,?and added, ? think that we will improve the trust that our customers place in us with this award and recognition.?
