TSB exports CATOS to Spain
Total Soft Bank (TSB), a domestic container terminal operation system support company, contracted to supply port operation systems for 5.1 billion won with the largest container terminal operating company in Spain.
TSB announced July 15 that it will set up, support and maintain CATOS, a port operation system improved by itself at Maritima Valenciana S.A. terminal in Valencia, Spain for 5.1 billion won.
The contract with Maritima Valenciana S.A. terminal is the company’s third, following a contract with Bilbao terminal in 2002 and Malaga terminal in 2003. ‘CATOS’ by TSB will be a standard system for operating ports in Spain. Thanks to this contract, TSB rose from the second largest port operation system company in the world because it passed COSMOS in Belgium and has established a bridgehead for itself in Europe.
CATOS is already established in about 60 container terminals world-wide. It is a computer automated container terminal operation system automated, in charge of planning, operations, and management. TSB also has over 30 percent market share in Japan.
