Hanjin Shipping awarded 'Carrier Service Excellence Award for 2003'

Hanjin Shipping was presented with the "Carrier Service Excellence Award for 2003" by Owens Corning of America for the second year running at an award ceremony held at the company's headquarters in Toledo, Ohio on March 3.
Hanjin is proud to be selected to win the Award for the second year running based upon the evaluation of superior logistics service characteristics such as timely vessel operation, consistent equipment supply and other cooperative services that involve trustworthiness.
Hanjin Shipping's Chicago Branch Manager Se-Hwa received the Award from Owens Corning's International Logistics & Compliance Leader Werner Weiss at the ceremony.
On behalf of Owens Corning, Mr. Weiss praised the superb quality of Hanjin's logistics service and its commitment to customer satisfaction. He also noted that Owens Corning was willing to strengthen the business relationship with Hanjin continuously.
Apart from Owens Corning, the Global Shippers Association, one of the largest shippers' associations in North America, BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International) and the Korean Association of Shipping Logistics accredited Hanjin for its superior logistics services, environment-friendly system and operation security in 2003.
Hanjin's dedicated efforts to become the "world's most trusted carrier" were once again proved by the distinctions received from such renowned organizations worldwide throughout the year.
