Hanjin Shipping has the most vessels by the tonnage, while Pan Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd. has the most vessels by number of ships.
According to MOMAF (Ministry of Maritime Affaires & Fisheries) and the KSA (Korea Shipowners' Association), Hanjin Shipping had 45 regular and nonregular liners as of December 29, 2003, weighing in at 2.58914 million G/T (gross tonnes) or 3.612328 million DWT (dead weight tons).
HMM (Hyundai Merchant Marine) has 34 vessels total in liners and trampers, weighing in at 2.50388 million G/T or 3.48448 million DWT.
Pan Ocean Shipping has 46 vessels, at 1.424915 million G/T or 2.500716 million DWT. KMTC (Korea Marine Transport Co., Ltd.) has 15 ships of 136,180 G/T or 169,315 DWT.
