KAL-JAS's freight traffic volumes increase
KAL (Korean Airline) and JAS (Japan Air System) freight traffic volumes sharply increased in November due to the closing of ports on the U.S. west coast. KAL holding the 4th rank in the volume of freight traffic, informed that volumes were up by 3% and recorded 77.7%.
A spokesman for JAS Houzita stated December 6 that JAS's volume increased by 19%. He added that JAS made profits of 73.3 billion yen in international airfreight traffic in the first half this fiscal year, an increase of 13% compared to last year.
