Hamburg Sud opens office in Gandhidham, India

Hamburg Sud recently announced the opening of an office in Gandhidham, India, on October 1st, 2014. It is the second branch office in the state of Gujarat. Hamburg Sud already has three offices in Mumbai, New Delhi and Ahmedabad.

Effective October 1st, 2014 the Ahmedabad and Gandhidham office will take over all commercial activities including Marketing & Sales, Customer Order Management and day-to-day operations in Gujarat from the Seabridge Maritime Agency. Mr. Paresh Kataria will head the Gandhidham Branch office.
Hamburg Sud has its weekly Europe Pakistan India (EPIC) service calling at Mundra port every Wednesday and Asia India (ASIP) service calling at Pipavav port every Tuesday. The port operations in Mundra and Pipavav will remain with the Seabridge Maritime Agency.
