Hanjin Shipping expands China-India service
Hanjin Shipping announced that it is expanding China-India service starting from early July. HGX (Hyper Galex), currently operated by Emirates Shipping, calls at the major ports of northern and southern China and India on weekly basis.
Hanjin Shipping will start chartering slots of 500 TEU effective July 10th and in return, Emirates Shipping will be taking the same amount of slots from Hanjin Shipping on its FMX (Far East - Middle East Express) service.
Hanjin Shipping comments, “This is our second service dedicated to Far East/China-India trade in addition to our existing FIX (Far East-India Express) service. It will certainly help us strengthen our market presence in the trade where cargo demand is steadily growing.”
Meanwhile, Hanjin Shipping, one of the key players in East-West route such as the Transpacific and Asia-Europe trades, is continuously expanding its service network in Intra Asia.
