K-Line to implement winter program on Asia to Mexico/South America Service

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (K Line) announced a winter program on their service linking Asia and Mexico/West Coast South America.

K Line presently operates two loops of a weekly service (called NEW ANDES, jointly with Mitsui O.S.K Lines, and their second loop, which is operated with eight 1,700 TEU vessels, will be temporarily suspended for about six months starting this February.

During the service suspension, K Line will still maintain two sailings a week with their first loop of the NEW ANDES and CEX services, operated by CCNI and Hamburg Sud.
