POSCO, awarded presidential citation for 2007 Korea Logistics Grand Prix Award

POSCO was awarded the presidential citation for the 2007 Korea Logistics Grand Prix Award, as it was acknowledged for its leading role in innovating logistics and adopting an advanced system to set an example for other companies, which resulted in making a contribution to the development of the national economy.

In this year's Grand Prix Award, hosted by Korea Logistics Association (KLA) and Maeil Business Newspaper, POSCO was acknowledged for contributing to the innovation of logistics based on its well-organized logistics system and to the growth of the global competitiveness of the Korean economy by being a role model to other companies in the area of manufacturing, circulation, and logistics.

Having continuously innovated in logistics and sales since its foundation, POSCO has succeeded in achieving the construction of an integrated system for logistics information, the modernization of equipment and facilities needed for logistics as well as making their uses more effective, the establishment of global networks, and the improvement of the domestic logistics industry.
