OOCL announces another GRI on North Europe-Asia Trade
OOCL announced it will execute a General Rate Increase (GRI) on North Europe-Asia Trade from October 1.
The company stated that ocean freight rates continue to be below the required level to cover operating costs on its North Europe to Asia Trade. Considering that the current levels are unsustainable for the long term, OOCL decided on a rates hike to maintain viable service levels.
This GRI is USD 200 per TEU or FEU. < Korea Shipping Gazette >
