[ HMM Targets $4Billion in Sales for 1999 ]

Hyundai Merchant Marine Co. said it is getting set to boost the sales
division of its non-container vessel business as port of its efforts t
o target $ 4 billion in sales for 1999.
According to the shipping company’s 1999 management plans released re
cently, it targets a combined net profit of $4 billion for this year,
breaking down to $1.9 billion in container business and $2.1 billion n
on-container business.
For the more, the shipping company plans to purchase a total of 12 shi
ps that will be used to deliver cars, LNG(Liquified Natural Gas), or o
ther petrochemical products.
