[ COSCON introduced a new B/L form in Japan ]

COSCO Container Lines(COSCON) introduced a new B/L(bill of lading) for
m, applying it to vessels departing Japanese ports after July 1.
In the new B/L form, the name of the carrier has been changed from Chi
na Ocean Shipping (Group) Co. to COSCO Container Lines and the origina
l B/L form has serial numbers to prevent forgery. There will also be c
hange from the combined transport B/L to the port-to-port or combined
transport B/L. Furthermore, the dock receipt will be attached to the n
ew B/L form.
Concerning the seawaybill, the current form continue to be used, while
a switch to a new form is scheduled before long.
