Freight Forwarders to Try to get Insured with an International Insuran
ce Group

Korean international freight forwarders are considering getting insured
with the international insurance group like London based TT Club in
order to increase their reliability out of the shippers and strenthen
their position in the shipping industries.
According to the Korean International Freight Forwaders Association,
they insist that their member companies will get insured with an inter-
national insurance group ,in which case the currently effective regula-
tions which are obligating each member company to deposit 100 mill won
compulsorily as a performance bond should be abolished.
