Hanjin Shipping sets sales goals of 6.5 billion for 2006
Hanjin Shipping set its sales at 6.528 billion dollars for 2006.
Hanjin Shipping announced on January 10 that they concluded their 2006 business goals with targets of 6.528 billion dollars in sales and 548 million dollars profit. Also they announced making steady financial structure against future shipping market and detail plans by business for continuing growth.
Hanjin its set cargo handling goal at 3,283,000 TEU for container transportation and 49,000,000 tons for bulk cargoes. It will also decrease its debt ratio to 121% to improve its financial structure.
Hanjin Shipping will invest 580 millions dollars, more than twice that of 2005? investments, for building new vessels and equipment, its terminal and repair shipbuilding yard business, expanding 3rd party logistics, and IT infrastructure to improve profits and strengthen growth.
Hanjin also plans to improve systems and conditions such as management innovation, business risk management, and stabilize its financial structure in the continually changing shipping market.
