KSA president Jang receives ICS president
The Korea Shipowner's Association president, Jang doo-chan, received president Rolf Westfal-Larsen and the chief of business bureau Chris Horrorks from ICS (International Chamber of Shipping) on October 2. They discussed the latest international shipping trends and outstanding questions.
President Jang explained the present conditions and leading issues for the Korean shipping industry to his ICS guests, and ICS president, Rolf Westfal-Larsen, requested cooperation from the KSA after he explained their current situation and promoted ICS.
In addition, presidents Jang and Westfal-Larsen gave their opinions about cooperation plans for the KSA and ICS, and ICS and the ASF (Asian Shipowners' Forum).
Rolf Westfal-Larsen is the president of the Norwegian company 'Rolf Westfal-Larsen' and is a former president of the Norway Shipowner's Association.
ICS is an international civil shipping organization established November 11, 1921 in London by shipowners from all over the world. The organization aims to protect shipowners, to strengthen cooperative relationships with members, and has member shipowners' associations in 30 countries.
