Sinokor Merchant Marine Co., Ltd. changes ships for Masan~Simonoseki

Sinokor Merchant Marine Co., Ltd. will deploy the 144 TEU class 2 container ships the 'Hanbu' and the 'Hanin' that they purchased from Hanjin Ltd. in the Masan ~ Simonoseki line.
One insider from the company said, "Though 200~300 TEU class container ships have traditionally served in the trade, sailing this ship will result in a cost savings due to reduced forced pilotage."
Japan mandates that all ships over 3,000 tons must sail as scheduled.
The 'Hanbu' and the 'Hanin' have since changed names to the 'SS-Masan' and the 'SS-Pusan', the replacement of the ships has completed at the end of last month.
