Evergreen, Lloyd Triestino and CMA CGM to co-operate on Mediterranean-Asia trade

Leading container lines Evergreen Marine Corporation of Taiwan, Lloyd Triestino of Italy and CMA CGM of France are pleased to announce that they have signed a co-operative agreement on the Mediterranean-Asia trade.
The agreement consists of an exchange of slots between CMA CGM? Mediterranean Express (MEX) service and Evergreen? Far East Mediterranean (FEM) service.
The FEM service rotation is as follows:
Ningbo - Xiamen - Hong Kong - Kaohsiung - Tanjung Pelepas - Colombo - Taranto - Genoa - Fos - Barcelona - Valencia - Taranto - Jeddah - Colombo - Port Kelang - Tanjung Pelepas - Kaohsiung - Ishigaki - Ningbo.
The MEX service rotation is:
Pusan - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Chiwan - Port Kelang - Damietta - Malta - Barcelona - Fos - Genoa - Malta - Damietta - Port Kelang - Hong Kong - Pusan.
Beginning 1 March 2003, the slot exchange agreement will reach 300 TEU per week in each direction.
This co-operation between Evergreen, Lloyd Triestino and CMA CGM will enable all three companies to upgrade and broaden the services they offer on this important trade route.
