Panstar Ferry inaugurates 12ft refer container
Panstar Ferry launches its 12-foot refrigerating container.
While Panstar Ferry inaugurated itself in the trade between Pusan and Osaka last April, the 12-foot refer container service has been delayed on account of securing properly sized containers. Korea Express and Japan Express, however, took charge of stevedoring jobs at wharves in each country helping Panstar to solve the problem.
These 12-foot container boxes are used for the export of fresh vegetables, foods and flowers, transported to Osaka and Tokyo by rail.
Panstar Ferry expects the 12-foot container service to save inland-logistic costs in Japan and to increase its competitiveness.
