KCTC in the black in 2011
KCTC, a Korean integrated logistics company, announced it turned a profit in 2011.
The company said it made KRW 6.635 billion in operating profit, returning to profitability from 2010. KCTC also saw its net profit grow to KRW 2.169 billion from a loss of 1.739 billion in 2010.
KCTC said it gained KRW 185.1 billion in revenue, soaring by 18.1% from KRW 156.7 billion in 2010. The company explained the reason for the positive operating results achieved in 2011 that KCTC expanded into new business sectors and global logistics business.
