GeoLogistics Names Eisenblatter Sr. Vice President of Ocean Freight Group

GeoLogistics Corporation, a leading global transportation and logistics company, has named Thomas Eisenblatter as its Senior Vice President of Ocean Freight, based here in South Korea.

Eisenblatter comes to the new post after 20 years in the global ocean freight industry, and most recently as the Managing Director of Ocean Freight for Panalpina, where he held the position since 2001. Eisenblatter has been with Panalpina for the past 13 years in successive management positions.

At Panalpina, he was responsible for building its ocean freight business and strengthening its strategic ocean freight partnerships with key carriers.

He was a key member of the team that substantially increased the company's ocean freight business over the last five years.

Eisenblatter officially joins GeoLogistics on May 1. He reports directly to GeoLogistics' Chief Executive Officer, Bill Flynn. His core responsibilities will be to further build GeoLogistics' successful ocean freight business, to enhance key carrier relationships and to make the company's ocean service the most customer-oriented in the industry.
