Hanjin establishes new corp. in UK
Hanjin Shipping announced on June 17 that it will establish 'HANJIN BULK EUROPE LTD.' (provisional name) in England to improve business power in Europe.
The company explained that it will formalize setting up the overseas corporation by investing one million dollars and will start operations from September.
Hanjin Shipping selected England to establish the corporation in because the country is a center for the Europe shipping market.
An insider at Hanjin Shipping said, "'HANJIN BULK EUROPE LTD.' will have three or four members and operate bulk sales mainly," and added, "We will start the operation with a small office. If outcomes are good, it will be expanded later on."
