KTA launches real market tariff site

A new site opened up to offer real-time market tariffs and help proces
s shipments for small sized shippers, who don't have any base to negot
iate with shipping companies.
The Korea Shipper's Association opened their site on October 17th afte
r 3 months of preparation, entirely reworking their homepage. The Kore
a Shipper's Association pointed out in a press conference that small s
ized shippers have suffered without access to information on real-tari
ffs.
This site, offering information on real time tariffs, put RADIS (Rate
Discount Service) online from off-line, as well as shipping schedules
for vessels and planes, automatic calculating of whole logistic costs,
and a tariff auction system.
This site is supported wholly by the Korea Trade Association and will
not be charging any user fees or commissions.
