Hamburg Sud proves its reefer expertise once again

Hamburg Sud shipping company will once again prove its expertise in the transportation of fresh produce at this year's Fruit Logistica trade fair in Berlin. Hamburg Sud is already one of the top five reefer container carriers worldwide, and a leader in the transportation of food products including fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, dairy products and other perishables.

Hamburg Sud has published its new Reefer Guide "Stay cool - we care" to coincide with Fruit Logistica: "It offers our customers genuine added value with a high level of practical relevance. All of Hamburg Sud's reefer expertise has been distilled into the Reefer Guide," Peter Frederiksen adds. For example, the 46-page guide contains the latest insights on the subject of stuffing, along with important information on product-specific settings for refrigerated containers.

Hamburg Sud sees growth potential in the fruit sector in particular. With the increasing importance of direct fruit shipment, investment is being made in the latest container technology.
