Kukbo Logistics (CEO Yeong-Chul Kim), a Korean total logistics company, announced it saw huge losses in the first half of 2012.
The company saw its 1H operating profit sharply reduced by 50% to KRW 715.5 million from KRW 1.5 billion compared with the same period last year.
The company also faced great losses in its net profit turning into the red at KRW -189.2 million from KRW 309 million. The carrier recorded KRW 55.6 billion in revenue, dropping 6.3% from 59.3 billion in 2011 1H.
Meanwhile the company saw its warehousing income and cargo handling sales steady at KRW 1.5 billion and KRW 7.8 billion, respectively, in the first half of 2012. < 김보람 기자 brkim@ksg.co.kr >
