Continuing performance falls at KLC

Korea Line Corp. (KLC) faced great losses again despite the company’s revival plan.

The Korean carrier posted KRW 233.7 billion operating deficit last year, widening the gap of 2010's loss - KLC recorded an operating deficit of KRW 171.4 billion in 2010.

The company also marked a huge loss in its net loss of KRW -1.1715 trillion last year, which is comparable with more than double of the level in the 2010 when it posted a loss of KRW 3.285 billion.

The revenue recorded KRW 7.571 billion, declining by 65% or 2.1613 trillion compared to 2010. < 김보람 기자 brkim@ksg.co.kr >
