Development plan of Incheon Terminal Logistics Complex to get approval
The application for the development plan of the Incheon Terminal Logistics Complex made by K-water is now under the process of getting approval from the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs.
The logistics complex is developed to handle international and inland cargo volumes as part of the Kyung-in Ara Waterway Project in the Incheon International Terminal as well as in the Kimpo International Terminal.
The Incheon Terminal Logistics Complex will be developed in the area of 11,160 thousand square meters with 360 billion won of investment and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2011.
The complex is a multi-purpose logistics area that has not only logistics terminals, home delivery centers and warehouses, but processing and packaging facilities and research centers as well.
It is expected that the complex will facilitate logistics activities, reduce costs and revitalize local economies.
