Ki Tae Roh new BPA President
Ki Tae Roh was sworn in as the new Busan Port Authority President on July 17th with port commissioners and BPA staff.
Mr. Roh said at the inaugural ceremony that Busan Port had served as a driving force to lead the development of the Korean economy and industrialization, and emphasized that constant passion and creative aptitude are required to enhance the competitiveness of Busan Port.
He added that he would focus on making Busan Port a driving engine in boosting the local economy.
As the 3rd BPA President, Mr. Roh will be responsible for the smooth construction of Busan New Port, establishing a distripark at Busan New Port, groundbreaking for the Busan North Port Redevelopment Project within this year, and securing additional cargo. <Korea Shipping Gazette>
