Maersk Line Purchases Refrigerated Containers from Hyundai Precision a
nd Industry

Maersk Korea Ltd. is pleased to announce that the A.P. Moller Group ha
s placed an order of 1000 twenty-foot refrigerated containers with Hyu
ndai Precision and Industry Co., Ltd. The refrigerated containers wil
l be built at Hyundai’s Ulsan plant. This new order is in addition to
a recent order of 500 refrigerated containers. The total value of the
two orders is USD 9.8 million. The A.P. Moller Group is pleased to co
ntinue its long relationship with Hyundai Precision and Industry Co.,
Ltd.
Maersk Line offers global refrigerated cargo services in state of the
art refrigerated containers. These containers have been cnostructed to
the most advanced specifications on the basis of extensive research p
rograms. Prior to delivery, the containers undergo rigorous testing an
d are subjected to extreme weather conditions ranging all the way from
tropical to arctic. Maersk Line’s global refrigerated cargo organisa
tion has more than 100 highly trained refrigerated cargo specialists.
Refrigerated cargo technicians on board the vessels ensure constant su
pervision of the containers. Maersk Line has the large fleet of refrig
erated containers in the world.
