Antwerp International Terminal opens

Hanjin Shipping held an opening ceremony for AIT (Antwerp International Terminal) with K-Line from Japan and Yangming Line from Taiwan in Antwerp, Belgium on May 23.

The AIT area is 41,000 pyoung and has three gantry cranes and 21 stevedoring machines. IT can handle about 500,000 TEU of container cargoes annually and started operation in January.

In attendance at the ceremony were the chief of Antwerp Port, the Belgium Environment Minister, Hanjin Shipping managing director, Choi Geon Sik, the PSA president and 400 other people related ports and shipping.
