MOMAF apologizes to country
MOMAF (the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries) apologized to the country for the situation connected with former-Minister Choi Nak-Jeong through a notice on its homepage (http://www.momaf.go.kr) on October 6.
The written apology on behalf of all MOMAF members said, "We apologize in all seriousness for causing anxiety for the country, including the fisheries business suffering from the recent typhoon".
It stressed, "All MOMAF members will do our best to complete natural business in cooperation with each other."
Especially the apology gave consideration to the Korea National University of Education lecture event that lead to the change in the ministry. It said, "We are so sorry to have offended so many good teachers."
Meanwhile, MOMAF erased all posts and opinions about ex-minister Choi from the notice board before publishing the written apology.
