KL-Net enjoys 36% jump in sales in first six months
Korea Logistics Network (KL-Net) revealed July 29 that it achieved a 36% increase in sales to approximately 15.6 billion won during the first half this year compared to the same period of last year. The increase was in part due to its EDI system that enabled export/import cargo increases and System Integration in line with the government’s active logistic strategy.
Sales profits and ordinary profits increased to 1.37 billion won and 1.48 billion won, a growth of 3% and 3.2% for each compared to last year. Net profits recorded 1.05 billion won, close to last year’s results. The company explained the shallow profit margin was due to facility investments for new projects.
KL-Net is expecting second half results to improve largely due to its passenger boat online ticketing service starting this August.
