Heung-a Shipping deploys 3rd 1,000-TEU container ship
Heung-a Shipping recently deployed a new container ship in its Hong Kong - Hipong - Xiamen route. The 1000-TEU vessel is 141 m long, 24,8 m wide, and sails at 18 knots.
Heung-a received the new vessel at the Deasun shipyard on February 5th.
The new container ship is named the < Heung-A Xiamen >. The new vessels is one of 13 ordered ships that include 7 container ships and 6 chemical tankers. The Heung-A Xiamen is the third delivery.
The new 'HPS1' service departed Busan Port on February 6th and its rotation is as follows:
Busan - Kwangyang - Hong Kong - Hipong - Hong Kong - Xiamen - Busan.
Heung-A Shipping said, "We plan to offer reliable service to our customers in the HPS1 route, one of the main routes, and increase the profitability of the company."
