Shinsung Shipping orders five steel-carriers

Shinsung Shipping Co., Ltd. contracted for five steel-carriers with Mokpo Shipbuilding.

These 6,700 dwt ships will be delivered between 2006 and 2005, but the number of ships may change.

An insider at Shinsung Shpping said, "The new ships will be deployed in Korea-China-Japan and southeast Asia tramper routes."

Ordering the new ships, Shinsung Shipping will expand its carriers to 28 ships.
