[ Hanjin Slates Eur./USEC Bunker Fee ]

Hanjin Shipping will levy a fuel surcharge of US$21/TEU and $42/FEU on
services between Europe and U.S. East Coast and gulf ports from Octob
er 13.
The surcharge will be $32/TEU and $64/FEU to and from the U.S. West Co
ast.
Hanjin is the second container carrier after P&O Nedlloyd to impose a
bunker surcharge in the face of rising fuel costs.
The charge of $21/TEU comes into force on October 13 on P&O’s Canandi
an Express service between Europe and Cananda.
