OOCL Logistics Appoints General Manager in Europe
OOCL Logistics, a global supply chain services company, has appointed 15-year freight industry veteran, Henrik Kofod-Hansen, to the position of General Manager and Director, Europe.
Kofod-Hansen, the General Manager, OOCL Logistics, Germany since 1998, will move to his new position on July 28 and will be domiciled in Hamburg, Germany. He will report to John Firman, CEO, OOCL Logistics, Inc., San Ramon, CAUSA.
With five years of experience in the containerized ocean transport industry in hand, Kofod-Hansen joined the OOCL organization in 1994. During his tenure in both the OOCL and OOCL Logistics organizations, Kofod-Hansen has held responsibilities in the areas of Pricing, Sales, Marketing and General Management. In his new appointment, his responsibilities will primarily involve management and direction of the OOCL Logistics organization in Europe that has office locations in Germany, The United Kingdom, France and The Netherlands.
