Capt. Wei meets with Secretary of New Democracy Party of Greece

On April 25, Capt. Wei Jiafu, Chairman of COSCO Group, met with a senior delegation led by Mr. Manolis Kefalogiannis, Secretary of the New Democracy Party of Greece in Beijing Ocean Plaza.

At the meeting, Capt. Wei introduced guests to the latest developments in COSCO? operations in Greece, and expressed his sincere appreciation to the dedicated support from the Greek government.

Secretary Kefalogiannis highly acknowledged COSCO? successful presence in Greece, particularly in the terminal of Piraeus.

He also thanked COSCO for promoting Greek social and economic growth, and its job creation. Both parties also thoroughly exchanged views on mutually issues during the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by Yannis Smyrlis, International Secretary of the New Democracy Party of Greece, senior officials from the International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, representatives from the executive division, transportation division and strategy planning division of COSCO Group. < Korea Shipping Gazette >
