DB Schenker Logistics opens new facility in Pomerania

DB Schenker Logistics has opened a new cross-docking terminal in Pruszcz Gda??ski in the greater Gdansk area.

The new facility has excellent traffic links to the network of important national roads, linking cities like Gda??sk, Gdynia and Sopot.

Thus, Schenker Sp. z o.o. will be capable of introducing improvements and further developing business operations in Poland and Europe.

The previous terminal was located in the center of Gdynia. The move of the facility will contribute to reduce the traffic volume in the city.

The terminal with a storage area of 4,500 square meters, and an office area of 850 square meters complies with most modern standards.

Technical solutions will help reduce water and energy consumption, e.g. by means of lighting systems and full office ventilation heat recovery.
