BPA 'Saenuri' resumes operation with increased safety
Busan Port Authority (BPA) stated that the port guide ship 'Saenuri,' which suspended operations to increase safety after the <Sewol> ferry tragedy, will resume its operation from July 16th.
During the suspended period, BPA drew up the "Port Guide Ship Emergency Response Manual?in order to handle accidents swiftly when an emergency occurs.
In addition, safety handrails have been installed on the deck to enhance passenger safety, and two ten-seat life floats, two ring life buoys, and extra child-life vests have been stocked. Even though Saenuri is a just a port guide ship, it is equipped with safety equipment at a coastal liner's level.

The 'Saenuri' port guide ship resumes operation from July 16th. The tour ship runs every Tuesday and Thursday at 2pm.
BPA President Ki-tack Lim said, "We hope people can enjoy the port tour on 'Saenuri.' To this end, BPA will endeavor to prevent accidents."
